- processing and collation of hours from timesheets;
- timely preparation of salaries and wages;
- dealing and resolving Employee payroll queries;
- registration of Absence, Travel days and holiday as per UK legislation;
- reconciliation Navision/Tax;
- processing of statutory payments;
- liaising with HMRC, Sage, CSA and other external and government organisations;
- monitoring and applying Tax coding;
- preparation and implementation of auto-enrolment pensions;
- ad hoc duties as required.
- experienced Payroller with knowledge of manual timesheets;
- ability to work to tight deadlines;
- process information accurately;
- ability to use own initiative;
- ability to deal with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality;
- able to work flexibly;
- excellent organisation skills;
- exceptional use and understanding of the English language;
- a quick learner;
- payroll qualification and experience preferred but not essential, qualification by experience also considered.
