Context
Our team, based in Poland, is looking for a Sales Manager to join on a full-time basis. This is a vital addition to the team in the continuing dynamic development of SES in Poland. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving the mission of identifying and evaluating market opportunities in Central Eastern Europe (CEE). The incumbent should have a strong track record of developing market strategies, enabling the sales group to create and grow business revenue on a short and long-term basis.
Central Eastern European market requires a unique approach towards each country, respecting its specific history, culture, language and location. Thanks to the closeness to the local markets and customers, the CEE team acts quickly, efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
• Prospect for new business accounts and establish long-term relationships with industry professionals
• Qualify customers, prepare written proposals and make presentations
• Hold the lead responsibility for negotiating and closing services in a timely manner
• Manage a portfolio of high value customer accounts
• Manage potential customer accounts in the sales group
• Ensure workflow of information among internal customers
• Visit clients as required
Experience / Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the media and/or telecommunications industry
• Master’s degree in business sciences and/or in a technical area
• Fluency in English and at least one other Central Eastern European language
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to negotiate and close deals for high value communications services
• Must be motivated to get things done and be part of a team
• Ability to work independently and under time pressure
• Being a self-starter and willing to travel
• Computer literacy (MS Office, Lotus Notes)
• Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunication industry and the Central Eastern European markets is an asset
